What an occasion! And what a launch for the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation at the Aotea Centre on Saturday, 28 February. We're still receiving expressions of delight, and now have more than 100 registrations on our database for Foundation newsletters. If you know of anyone who is interested in the Foundation's activities and special offers, invite them to contact us.
No-one was more thrilled with the launch concert than Dame Kiri herself. 'It was a wonderfully memorable evening,' she said. 'I only hope our 2000 guests had as much enjoyment as those on stage did. I couldn't have hoped for a better occasion and launch for the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation'.
And now you can relive the experience. TVNZ has scheduled the broadcast of the concert on TV One at 8.20pm on Good Friday (Friday, 9 April). Access the news release from TVNZ for details.
In fact, you'll be able to enjoy it again and again. Negotiations are almost finalised for a special concert DVD and CD. Full details will be released in our next newsletter.

Living overseas and feeling a little left out? Your patience may be rewarded as negotiations are underway for the launch concert to be broadcast in several countries. More details will be provided when known. In the meantime, don't forget the DVD and CD.
