The Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation is fortunate to have an impressive group of dedicated trustees who are committed to the Foundation's objectives and their support to make Dame Kiri's vision a reality. The trustees are:

Dame Kiri Te Kanawa ONZ, DBE, AC - Founding Trustee and Chair

Kiri Te Kanawa was born in New Zealand with European and Maori heritage. 

Paul Brewer LVO

External Relations Director at THE EDGE, the performing arts and conventions centre in Auckland.  Previously founding Director of Marketing and Communications at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Currently a Board member of the Auckland War Memorial Museum. 

Stephen Dee

Theatrical Producer and Arts Consultant (based in the UK)

Terence Dennis MNZM

Professor and Head of Performance Studies at the University of Otago Department of Music. A fine musician with an international reputation as a highly-sought accompanist. 

Diana Fenwick QSO

Board member of Aotea Centre Board of Management (The Edge), Deputy-Chair of New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Foundation, Immediate Past Chair, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and trustee of many arts and charitable community organisations.

Ian Fraser OBE

Broadcaster and arts administrator. Chief Executive of the NZSO (1998-2002) and CEO of TVNZ (2002-2005). Currently consulting on public affairs and broadcasting projects

Paul Gleeson

Producer and events management consultant. Foundation administrator

Paul Harrop ONZM

Chartered Accountant. Founder of the Aotea Youth Symphony and Aotea Sinfonietta. Foundation financial advisor.

Rodney Macann

National Leader of the New Zealand Baptists. Well known bass-baritone who had major operatic roles in New York, London, Berlin, Australia and New Zealand. 

Dame Catherine Tizard ONZ, GCMG, GCVO, DBE

Formerly Mayor of Auckland and Governor General of New Zealand. Foundation Deputy Chair.
