NZSO's Pre World Cup Final Concert will be popular

Posted on 20 December 2010

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra recently confirmed details of a special concert ‘Dame Kiri Te Kanawa – A Gala Evening’ which is being presented in association with the Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation on Saturday October 22, 2011 on the eve of the Rugby World Cup Final (October 23) at Auckland’s Vector Arena. With so many international visitors in NZ at that time the concert is expected to attract a large audience. Although Dame Kiri’s repertoire is yet to be finalized it will include many great classics and popular favourites. The concert will also provide the opportunity to showcase some of the talented young singers being supported by the Foundation.
